Straight Outta Compton's Kitchen - Our Goals in Action

We envision a future where every person has a place to call home, where no one sleeps on the streets, and where the cycle of homelessness is broken. We believe that every individual deserves a chance to live a life of dignity and fulfillment, regardless of their circumstances.

We take a comprehensive approach to tackling homelessness. We understand that providing shelter is just the first step. We strive to address the root causes of homelessness by offering a range of services and support.

We actively engage with the local community to raise awareness about homelessness and its underlying causes. By fostering empathy and understanding, we aim to mobilize support and create a compassionate society that is committed to ending homelessness.

We understand that ending homelessness requires a collective effort. We actively collaborate with and other nonprofits (i.e. Ordered Steps, Daughters of Zion, and Women on the Grow) to maximize our impact and create a supportive network for those in need.

Education and Training:  

We believe in providing long-term solutions to homelessness. Through targeted programs, we plan to offer job training, educational opportunities, and access to support services to help individuals regain their independence and secure sustainable housing.

Collaboration:

We hope to become grant recipients and work alongside government agencies & local businesses.

Emergency Shelter:

We yearn to provide safe and secure emergency shelter for those experiencing homelessness. Our shelters will offer a warm, welcoming environment where individuals can find respite and begin their journey towards stable housing.
